Tickets / Outings
All delegates will receive show tickets, however, additional tickets are also available for purchase on Eventbrite.
Tickets for optional social activities on Friday, July 24 can be purchased at the hotel upon arrival.

Social Media Accounts
Now that you're official, you'll want to open your social media to promote your platform, give the judging panel a "first look"and participate in our MATC Social Challenge. Your title should be standardized as "Miss (State/Region) American (Division) (Year), e.g. "Miss Connecticut American Teen 2020." To abbreviate on Instagram, please use the full word "Miss" followed by your two-letter state, with "American" and Division spelled out fully. Tag our pageant #missamericanteenpageant or @missamericanteenpageant so we can share your posts.

Promoting Your Platform
As a membership benefit with the Pageant Planet, our delegates who open a Contestant profile and attach it to our National Pageant are eligible to be featured as "Titleholder of the Day" on the Pageant Planet website. We will also use their website for our People's Choice Award voting -- the winner secures a spot in the Final Competition.
All delegates are also invited to do an "Instagram Takeover" of our Instagram Live Story for a day to promote their platform, talk about themselves, answer questions, do polls, and provide tips and advice to our followers.

Appearance Crown & Sash
Immediately after completing the online registration, a custom sash is ordered for each delegate and their crown is shipped (if selected and paid for during the registration process). Having our pageant regalia will help to open doors for appearances, such as fundraisers, parades, other pageants and events. Remember, during pageant season custom sashes are three to five weeks in production, so please complete registration early.

ATU Pageant Prep
Be sure you are ready for the stage by signing up for Pageant Prep. This is a service available through American Teen University. The one-hour sessions are free of charge and will help delegates identify areas where they may need extra attention before Nationals. Click here to make an appointment.

Program Book Ad
In keeping with our 2020 Adjusted COVID-19 operational plans, we will not be producing a paper version of the Program Booklet. A digital version will be distributed free of charge to all delegates. Please submit photos as a 3/4 shot (waist up) making sure arms, shoulders and top of head have not been cropped. All photos must be in high definition, 300 dpi or higher.

Event Photography Package
Our pageant photography sponsor, AVESSA, is providing all delegates with a basic photo package to include all onstage competitions. The basic package is included in your Sponsorship Fee. However, individual sessions can be booked directly with the photographer.

Social Media Challenge
The MATC Social Media Challenge is a fun event conducted during the ten days leading up to Nationals. Each delegate will make social media posts according to that day's theme. The challenge is a fun way for delegates to get to know each other before arriving in Miami. The format for posts is a 16:9 Instagram Story in either a photo, video or both.

Interview Questions
Interview is an important part of the pageant competition -- it is also the first opportunity for the judges to meet you. In addition to the information on your delegate profile, be prepared to answer any of the attached questions in your personal interview. Remember, there are no right or wrong answers!
